Yesterday I participated in my second 5K run. This one was to benefit AIDS education and prevention in the Philadelphia area.

I was on a team with five other writers/bloggers called the Philly Blogger Joggers. Together, we raised almost $800. It was a cold, rainy day, and half of us were novice runners, but everyone finished in under 40 minutes.

It was a great thing to be apart of, and I and I am so proud of everyone. It was especially cool that all of us are creative types who came together to take on a physical challenge when we are so used to the ones of the mental variety.
